Mrs. Allison Payne has taught in the Fairport Central School District outside of Rochester, NY for the past 17 years. She teaches violin lessons district wide, grades 4-8, 6-8 string orchestra and beginning 4th grade orchestra at Fairport. Mrs. Payne holds a Master of the Arts degree in Music Education from Eastman School of Music and holds her bachelor's degree in Music Education from the Hartt School of Music at University of Hartford. Ali is currently Concert Master for Center Stage Pops led by Tony Bisano. Center Stage Pops consists mostly of music educators in the Rochester area. Mrs. Payne enjoys being a pit musician for area musical theater performances as well. Mrs. Payne has two children who are learning to play instruments and enjoys sharing that interest with them. Outside of music, Mrs. Payne works at Roc City Circus as a fitness instructor and performs in their circus shows on the Aerial Silks. 

 

Ali has been at Bristol Hills Music Camp for 24 years – as a camper, counselor and staff member and cannot picture a summer without it.  She lives in Pittsford, NY with her husband, Matt, and sons, Fritz and Liam.
