Dr. Dan Skidmore has been a professional guitarist in the Central New York area for two decades. He's been the pit guitarist for the musicals "Rent," "Mamma Mia," "Anything Goes," "Pippin," "Grease," "The Wiz," "Footloose," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Bye Bye Birdie," "Disaster! The Musical!", "Bring it On", and "13: The Musical," and for the Syracuse High School Theater Awards. Presently, he is the leader of the contemporary jazz quartet "Take Four: Jazz," and is the staff guitarist at Bristol Hills Music Camp, All Saints Catholic Church in Syracuse, and Holy Family Catholic Church in Fairmount. Regionally, he has performed with Nancy Kelly and the Jazzuits, Ronnie Leigh, Fredonia Jazz Ensemble, Syracuse Acoustic Blues Festival, Soul Mine, Entourage, the Joanna Collins, Street Corner, Entourage, Brass Exchange, and many others.
